Superman
Superman, whose real name is Clark Kent and birth name is Kal-El, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster and first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938.
Background: Superman was born on the fictional planet Krypton with the birth name of Kal-El. As a baby, his parents sent him to Earth in a small spaceship shortly before Krypton was destroyed in a natural cataclysm. His ship landed in the American countryside near the fictional town of Smallville. He was raised as Clark Kent by the farmer couple Jonathan and Martha Kent. When Clark grew up, he moved to Metropolis and started working as a reporter for the Daily Planet.
Summary: Superman is one of the most recognizable pop culture icons worldwide. His powers include super strength, speed, invulnerability, and various sensory abilities, such as heat vision and X-ray vision. He fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way. He is the world’s first Super Hero and a guiding light to all. The Man of Steel is the ultimate symbol of truth, justice, and hope. He is as much a legend as he is a man: the gold standard of heroism, compassion, and responsibility. Though his powers make him god-like next to his human compatriots, Superman’s story is not one of greed or conquest. Instead, he strives to represent the inherent goodness of the human spirit, and the capacity of every living thing to do right by their neighbors.
Strength and Powers: Superman’s powers are legendary: thanks to the light of Earth’s yellow sun, Kal-El of Krypton can fly at amazing speeds, he’s incredibly strong, he’s invulnerable to most forms of physical harm, and he has a suite of abilities ranging from Super Breath, Heat Vision, X-Ray Vision, Telescopic Vision, and Super Hearing. His strength allows him to battle omega-level threats such as Darkseid which has shown great strength that could destroy planets. Superman’s will is as mighty as his punch, allowing him to grapple with forces far more powerful than himself. He draws his immeasurable strength from Earth’s sun. Superman’s power level is the stuff of legend, but now DC is finally putting a number on the Man of Steel’s physical might in its main reality. As the heaviest hitter in DC Comics, Superman is comparable to the gods themselves in terms of physical might. If that really is a quarter of his strength, Superman can seemingly output 1.611704 × 10^10 (16,117,040,000) joules. Superman’s Maximum Strength Is Mind-Blowing To put this in perspective, an average person can only punch about 135-150 joules, and a world-champion professional boxer can only reach about 1,300 joules with their hardest punch. That is less than .00003% of the energy produced from Jon’s punch, which was only about a quarter of his strength. According to the standard Mutant Power Level Classification of DC’s Earth-616 (Prime Earth), Superman is classified as a Tier 2-C, possibly 2-A character, which means that he is an extremely powerful character in the DC Universe.

Green Lantern
Green Lantern is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first Green Lantern character, Alan Scott, was created in 1940 by Martin Nodell with scripting or co-scripting of the first stories by Bill Finger during the Golden Age of Comic Books and usually fought common criminals in Capitol City (and later, Gotham City) with the aid of his magic ring. For the Silver Age of Comic Books, John Broome and Gil Kane reinvented the character as Hal Jordan in 1959 and introduced the Green Lantern Corps, shifting the nature of the character from fantasy to science fiction.
The Green Lanterns fight evil with the aid of rings that grant them a variety of extraordinary powers, all of which come from imagination, fearlessness, and the electromagnetic spectrum of emotional willpower. The characters are typically depicted as members of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic law enforcement agency.
The Green Lantern Ring is considered by some to be one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe. It has the ability to affect and use fundamental forces of the known universe, including electromagnetic energies such as gravity, radiation, heat, light, and powerful blasts of concussive force. It is also theorized that the ring also has a basis in other dimensional energies commonly called magic by users of such energies. The ring can also create fields of force formed from an unknown energy that is bound by the users’ will. The limitations of such use are the skill, knowledge, and imagination of the user.
Some of the abilities that a Green Lantern Ring has shown are:
Energy Projection: The ring can be used to fire blasts of Oan energy or create weapons such as projectiles of them. The ring can project beams of force powered by the will of the user. The ring can be used to produce kryptonite and kryptonite radiation.
Force Field: The ring can create various force fields of various sizes and shapes to protect the wearer and others around him. With the cosmic scope of a Green Lantern’s duties, it is only natural that the power ring is designed for operation in space. The ring creates a force field around the wearer, protecting him/her/it from the hazards of the void including filtration of stellar radiation and microscopic particulate matter which would ordinarily be fatal should the space debris strike the ring wielder at high speeds. An atmosphere appropriate to the ring wielder’s biology is created inside the force-field while body temperature is maintained and waste products are removed. Gravitational stresses which could cause injury are stabilized for the ring wielder. Theoretically, a ring wielder could use the ring as his/her/its sole source of life support. The force field seems to be created instantaneously whether this is due to programming or an instinctive reaction from intensive training has not been established. It could be considered as a subroutine of the ring’s automatic defensive system.
According to the standard Mutant Power Level Classification of DC’s Earth-616 (Prime Earth), Green Lantern is classified as a Tier 2-C, possibly 2-A character, which means that he is an extremely powerful character in the DC Universe.

He has dedicated his life to an endless crusade, a war on all criminals in the name of his murdered parents, who were taken from him when he was just a child. Batman is one of the strongest non-powered heroes even without his powerful gadgets. Batman once fought for 28 hours straight to showcase his enhanced stamina. His peak human strength is enhanced by his mastery of various fighting techniques. He is easily able to subdue and defeat supervillians twice his physical strength and or size, as well as having the reputation of one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe. Batman’s attention to detail, technological ability, situational awareness and tactical prowess ensure he gets the upper hand in any battle he’s in – it’s the reason he regularly beats some of the biggest powerhouses in the entire DC Universe, including the entire Justice League in the “Endgame” story arc.
According to the standard Mutant Power Level Classification of DC’s Earth-616 (Prime Earth), Batman is classified as a Tier 2-C, possibly 2-A character, which means that he is an extremely powerful character in the DC Universe.

The Flash
Flash, whose real name is Barry Allen, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, and first appeared in Flash Comics #1 in January 1940.
Background: Flash was born on Earth and his real name is Barry Allen. He was a college student when he acquired his super-speed abilities in a random lab accident and became the first DC Super Hero to go by the name the Flash. Years later, Jay was succeeded by police scientist Barry Allen, until Barry’s former kid partner Wally West took up the mantle at a time when Barry was considered dead. But, when Barry returned, he became the Flash once again. All three generations of speedsters have been cornerstone members of both the Justice Society and Justice League.
Summary: Flash is one of the most popular characters in DC Comics and has been integral to the publisher’s many reality-changing “crisis” storylines over the years. The original meeting of the Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick and Silver Age Flash Barry Allen in “Flash of Two Worlds” (1961) introduced the Multiverse storytelling concept to DC readers, which would become the basis for many DC stories in the years to come. Flash has a distinctive cast of adversaries, including Gorilla Grodd, the various Rogues (unique among DC supervillains for their code of honor) and the various psychopathic “speedsters” who go by the names Reverse-Flash or Zoom.
Strength and Powers: Flash’s powers are absolutely amazing. His powers include phasing, conducting lightning, manipulating the particles around him to appear invisible, and even siphoning speed from other speedsters to become more powerful. His mastery of the Speed force gives him a prodigious speed of reaction and movement, with the latter being able to reach and even exceed in disproportionate ratios the speed of the light at certain moments. Thanks to it, he can achieve feats such as dodging bullets, creating mini-tornadoes by turning his arms or moving in circles extremely fast, running vertically or on water without suffering the effects of gravity, giving bursts of gunfire like a human machine gun. They are also surrounded by an invisible aura of the Speed Force, the source of their powers, which protects them from friction and pressure from extreme speeds, for example when the sound barrier is crossed, and can vibrate through solids and thus cross them.
According to the standard Mutant Power Level Classification of DC’s Earth-616 (Prime Earth), Flash is classified as a Tier 2-C, possibly 2-A character, which means that he is an extremely powerful character in the DC Universe.

Cyborg
Cyborg, whose real name is Victor “Vic” Stone, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez, and first appeared in DC Comics Presents #26 in October 1980. Victor Stone is the son of Silas Stone and Elinore Stone, scientists who used him as a test subject for various intelligence enhancement projects. While these treatments were ultimately successful and Victor’s IQ subsequently grew to genius levels, he grew to resent his treatment. Victor’s association with underage criminals led him down a dark path in which he was often injured, but he still lived a “normal” life in which he was able to make his own decisions.
Originally known as a member of the Teen Titans, Cyborg was established as a founding member of the Justice League. Cyborg possesses cybernetic enhancements that provide superhuman strength, endurance, and durability. He can also interface with computers. Built into his body-armor are an infrared eye, computer generator, sound amplifier, and special programming adapters that allow him to interface with other body extensions.
Cyborg’s powers and abilities include superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and speed. He has advanced sensor and weapon systems, flight capabilities, computer interfacing, nano-regeneration, shapeshifting, and portal creation via “Boom Tubes”. At optimal capacity, Vic can lift/press in excess of four metric tons. If he pushes himself, he can even exceed five tons, but not without causing severe stress to his cybernetic components. Cyborg’s upper strength limits have fluctuated with upgrades to his systems over time. His new strength limit is somewhere around 15-20 tons.

She also possesses divine lightning manipulation, energy absorption and projection (via channeling through her bracelets), magic, astral projection, animal empathy, regenerative healing factor, immortality, and master martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant weapon proficiency. She utilizes Lasso of Truth, indestructible bracelets to deflect opposing weapons, projectile tiara, sword, shield, and invisible plane. Her superior strength, speed, fighting skills, and ability to fly all make her powerful. Her power is so limitless that she can even defeat other goddesses like Artemis and engage in combat with peers like Aquaman, and Superman. In Superman’s For Tomorrow arc, she was even able to break down the doors of the Kryptonian hero’s Fortress of Solitude. Her strength is classified as 7 in the DC power grid, which is the maximum level.
Martian Manhunter
Martian Manhunter, also known as J’onn J’onzz and John Jones, is a superhero from the planet Mars and the last surviving member of his race. He was created by writer Joseph Samachson and artist Joe Certa, and first appeared in the story “The Manhunter from Mars” in Detective Comics #225 in November 1955. He is one of the seven original members of the Justice League of America and one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe.
J’onn J’onzz was a peaceful and noble Green Martian, who lived with his wife and daughter on Mars. He was a respected scientist and a leader of his people. However, his life was shattered when the White Martians, a violent and warlike race, launched a genocide against the Green Martians, killing J’onn’s family and nearly wiping out his entire race. J’onn was the only survivor, thanks to a protective shield he had created around his home.
J’onn was transported to Earth by an experimental teleportation beam constructed by Dr. Saul Erdel, a human scientist who was fascinated by the possibility of life on Mars. J’onn was shocked and saddened by the death of his people, and felt alone and lost on a strange world. He used his shape-shifting abilities to assume a human form and blend in with humanity, taking the name John Jones and becoming a police officer in Gotham City. He also adopted the superhero persona of Martian Manhunter, using his powers to fight crime and injustice.
J’onn’s powers include superhuman strength, speed, durability, and flight, as well as shape-shifting, intangibility, invisibility, telepathy, telekinesis, and heat vision. He is also a genius-level intellect, an expert detective, and a skilled martial artist. He has a weakness to fire, which causes him great pain and fear, as it reminds him of the flames that destroyed his people.
J’onn has been a loyal and courageous member of the Justice League, as well as other superhero teams such as the Justice League International, Stormwatch, and the Justice League United. He has formed close friendships with many heroes, especially Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. He has also mentored young heroes, such as Miss Martian, his niece and fellow survivor of the Martian holocaust. He has faced many enemies, such as the White Martians, Despero, Malefic, and the Hyperclan.
J’onn has come to love and respect Earth as his new home, and considers himself a protector of both worlds. He still honors his Martian heritage and culture, and hopes to someday rebuild his race. He is a compassionate and wise hero, who values life and peace above all else. He is the Martian Manhunter, the last son of Mars.
